CLEP exams are a time and money saver because you can take an exam for what you all ready know and possibly gain college credit. There are about 35 exams offered that allow students to earn college credit. The exams are usually 90 minutes long and vary in cost. South Plains College offers CLEP exams that will transfer to other colleges. Call the Testing Center at 894-9611, ext. 2530 or go online at www.southplainscollege.edu, click on “Quick Links” and then under admissions choose “Testing Center.” If you are going to Texas Tech, contact the Testing Center at Tech.
